What the kids say

“Soleyn is a very good cook and can cook anything you like - lasagne, chicken drumsticks, pancakes, cheesecake, banana bread - there is always a supply of freshly baked cookies in the activity room with cold drinks all day long.

There is a cold playroom with a wii and a brilliant selection of games.The activity room has a table tennis table, pool table, chess set and loads of DVD’s to watch.

We love the jacuzzi because its warm at night and you can stay in the pool longer. The beds are really soft and comfortable and it’s easy to get to sleep. The cinema screen makes you feel like you are really in a cinema except it feels like you are outside as well.

If you go down the path to the giant rock - you can climb over it to rock pools and see an underground tunnel where the water runs in and sprays and then gets sucked back out.” 

At dinner you can eat under the stars outside and look at the stars and the moon - great if you like astronomy.

There is loads of space to play hide and seek - a secret garden to hide in - loads of cupboards and a secret room which is a hurricane shelter.

“I love Mustique because it is easy to get a golden tan by lying back on the sunbeds and plugging into your iPod every morning.  Macaroni beach is a lush place to have a picnic and the waves are huge and the sea is turquoise. Body-boarding with your mates is a great laugh.  The pizza at Firefly is absolutely gorgeous. 

The cocktail party on Tuesday night is a great place to meet new people or go with a friend and enjoy the free drinks.  I love Mustique because it’s lush and laid back and there really isn’t any place like it.”
